Emma and Ellie

Oh, these pictures bring up so many memories. When Jenn and I were little girls, we used to have sleepovers all the time! This time we were having a sleep over with our girls! They so desperately wanted to sleep together in Ellie's bed. We let them try! By almost 1:00 AM we started going in there, and telling them they really needed to get to sleep. That's picture 1. They weren't convinced, so they continued to sweet talk us with their little smiles. That's pictures 2 and 3. Finally, we got them to lay down, but they didn't seem to take us too seriously. That's picture 4. Notice how rosey their cheeks were? That's the middle of the night calling! By 1:30, Em finally came down to us, and said Ellie had finally fallen asleep, but she hadn't. Yes, 1:30 AM! We have come full circle, from being the giggly little girls having the sleepover with our moms calling for us to "go to sleep or else", to being the moms who were saying "go to sleep or else"!!! I look at these pictures and see me in Em's sweet face, and Jenn in Ellie's sweet face, and can't help but remember...
