Arizona, Day 3
Today we had another "take it easy day" since the girls are so sick. Sara wasn't feeling well with a fever, and was a bit weak. Em was feeling better, coughing a bit less. She was feeling so icky, though, that she said she wasn't up for swimming. So that let me know she really didn't feel good at all. She's been looking forward to swimming here for months. After a very slow morning with some good food and rest we decided to go to a big nursery where there were lemon, lime and orange trees, palm trees and cactus for sale. It was so different than our plants at home. The girls were so excited that they bought cactus for their souveniers for the day! It will be interesting trying to get those on the plane! They seemed to be feeling a bit better, but pretty hot. Dad had a cool place to show us. It's called Westgate Mall. It was a lot like Downtown Disney, but more geared towards sports. There were fountains that were timed to music every half an hour, neat shops and great restaurants. It was all attached a huge sports stadium and a sports arena.
We decided to eat at Margaritaville, since we've never been to one before. It was a great place to rest, get into the shade and cool off, while still enjoying the outside and warm air!
The kids had fun throwing pennies into the wishing well part of the fountains!
We came home and walked to the neighborhood park so the girls could play, and walked on some pathways that wove through the neighborhood.
Sara started feeling icky again, so we walked back. Em carried her part way to cheer her up. She's such a good big sister.
After that we ate ice cream outside on the patio table in the dark! Man I could get used to this weather.

Brynn and I spent some time here at Margaritaville!
Glad to see the smiling faces.

Where the misters turned on at the mall...that was one of my favorite parts.
